This web page is devoted to the optics in general and particularly on the issue of optical system design. Being in this business for a number of years I am still enchanted with its beauty. For some people it is just a job, for others it is a duty and for me it is a pleasure. Probably there is no other area in engineering where designer creates some kind of art. While dealing with optics we also play with light and images as the painters do and sometimes one really needs an inspiration to make a lens. Don't you believe me?
